July, 2008 – Superior, Inc., one of the largest grain storage suppliers in the United States, is now manufacturing its own grain bins and grain storage equipment.  

“We decided to begin manufacturing our own grain bins to ensure that we could continue to deliver on our promise to our customers,” said Rauser. “We wanted to make sure that we could continue to provide a high quality product, prompt delivery and competitive pricing.”  

The company, which offers a full-line of grain bins and equipment, has manufacturing facilities in Kindred, ND and Beresford, SD. “The bins are made to exacting specifications using some of the most advanced technology in the industry,” said Rauser. “Thirty-two years of field experience has allowed us to identify and add valuable features to our bin which are not available elsewhere,” said Rauser.  

The result is bins that have unmatched strength, reliability and long-lasting performance from top to bottom.  For example, Superior grain bin roofs offer an 8,000 lb. center load capacity, are designed to withstand winds up to 100 mph. and are designed to maintain a tight seal against wind, rain and snow.  Full 44” stiffener anchor brackets add the equivalent of two gauges of steel to the bottom ring to reduce stress on the lower part of the bin. Superior’s exclusive Herculok “no-fines” floor system and strong 16-ga. steel floor supports are designed for loads up to 88’ high.
